As we closely monitor the ongoing Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak, we are taking every precaution to ensure our top priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our clients and staff. This guides each and every decision we make.
We have and will continue to follow the guidelines of our local health departments, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC} the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Broward and Palm Beach County Health Departments. As a result, we stay current on this evolving situation, we want to assure you that we are taking the appropriate and precautionary measures, such as:
Regarding current and admitted patient's change of schedule, the following has been implemented:
If a client does contract coronavirus, they will be isolated and quarantined on location. The client will only be handled by designated staff with the proper PPE. The local Department of Health (or equivalent agency) will be informed so that they may come out and provide further guidance on how to best handle the individual. All suspected cases are reported to the Department of Health (or local agency) who will be handling it accordingly. A deep cleaning will occur at the identified location.
Additional information regarding the virus can be found on the Broward Health Department's website or the Centers for Disease Control website.
We will continue to work together to ensure the safety of our patients and team members and adhere to any new regulatory changes as they come.
Drug detoxification, which is also known as just “detox,” is the process of removing toxins from your body. The physical bonds of addiction can be quite strong. After prolonged use, your body and brain become dependent on drugs, and it can be nearly impossible to stop using on your own. While going through detox center programs, you might experience strong cravings. The accountability of a drug detox program can help you stay sober in the early days of recovery. At The Detox Center, we offer a variety of programs for those struggling with drug use. Learn more about our programs and reach out to get started in leaving addiction behind.
Though our drug detox program is essential for a strong start to recovery, you might not be sure if you need professional help. Especially if you are struggling with prescription drug use, you might feel like you don’t have a problem. Consider the following questions as a guide to whether or not medical detox is right for you:
If you can answer yes to any of the above, reach out to The Detox Center to learn more about our drug detox program. We can help you safely detox and begin recovery.
One reason that those struggling with addiction should always detox in a medical drug center is that withdrawal can be both uncomfortable and painful. Depending on the duration and frequency of your drug use, withdrawal can last for a day or two up to several weeks. During the withdrawal process, having the support of experienced medical staff can keep you comfortable and also safe. In some cases, detox can be life-threatening without proper medical care.
Every individual who is struggling with an addiction to drugs has a different story to tell. And since their experiences have been unique, their treatment plan in a drug detox center should be unique as well. At The Detox Center, we offer a drug detox program for a number of substances. Withdrawal symptoms can vary based on the substance abused and the severity of the addiction. Our staff is prepared to help you or your loved one through the uncomfortable or painful days of early recovery.
Our goal is to set you on the path to recovery from drug addiction. While in one of our drug detox center programs, you’ll not only have the support of our medical team, but you’ll go through both individual and group therapy to help you work through the underlying causes of addiction. We also offer a residential treatment program so that you can continue your recovery journey. Learn more about our drug detox center programs and contact The Detox Center at [Direct].
